Build Your Own Internet Traffic Machine
By“The entrepreneur always searches for change, responds to it, and exploits it as an opportunity.” — Peter Drucker
Have you seen the endless advertisements? They are all over the place. For some of your hard earned money (usually quite a sum at that), you can use our “proven” system and the cash will simply pour into your business. Have you ever been involved in such a “proven” system? Yeah, me too…and based on my experience, I do believe that cash will pour in such a transaction, but all too often it will pour the other way; from your pocket into the owners of the system.
With that in mind, why not build your own? Why should we spend our money in order to sustain someone’s house on Maui when we can each work to secure our own financial security? I am thinking that was one of your goals when you started your home business. And it is certainly true of me as well
You can create an internet traffic machine to build your business. It is not exactly rocket science. I believe it is not only something that can be done; it is something each one should do in order to take our businesses to the next level, whatever level that is. You do not need a great upline, or one that is supportive. In fact, it is not even necessary to speak with your upline. This works just as well for direct sales and affiliate marketing as it does for network marketing.
You simply need to build a system that attracts potential customers to you. This is the very heart of attraction marketing. That is, attracting customers to you by providing them with useful information that is of interest to them. This is the central aspect of your internet traffic machine.
This internet traffic machine can be built by you for very little money. And can be built progressively. You will decide who to attract based on your analysis of your target market. Once you understand the theory behind this, you can target several potential customer groups at the same time using the same methodology. Simply amazing!
And it all starts with a core. This core will be your magnet to draw your target market to you. Stay tuned, there is more to come this week!
This idea of building your own internet traffic machine is so important that this blog is devoted entirely to this subject. For further information for home based businesses and business people, see my other blog; JonClaytonBizBlog at http://jonclayton.name/.

You are so right that we should invest our time, energy and money into developing our own systems, rather than investing in other people’s systems. The problem, of course, is that it’s often quite difficult to figure out a reliable system, especially when we’re newbies … and we’re all newbies at some time. What sounds good on a computer screen more often than not doesn’t work out all that well. Especially in the field of marketing (in this case, on the Net). How many emails have we all gotten that say something like, “Earn millions of dollars and work only 15 minutes a day”? Yeah, right.

Hello Jon,
You are so right! I think this past week alone I was introduced to three or four product launches all offering to be the “answer” to marketing online. Each one promised to show you the way to essentially get the mindset and then set up an Internet traffic machine … all for the measly price tag of $1000.00 and up!
First understanding what it takes to build any business, online or on the street, is always a key element. When you get to the point of setting up an Internet traffic machine, tapping into resources like those on your blog is a fantastic start. Perhaps you should up your price tag too
Thanks for the insight … Jim H.

You have made an excellent point. I have observed the very same abundance of ‘proven’ systems and have researched quite a few. Many are the same but packaged with a different twist, and result in the statistics that over 90% of online business owners are not making any money. Your presentation of building one’s own traffic machine is a solid, steady one that can produce sustaining results if home business owners will commit to the task.

Hi five folks - food for thought! - I’ve been trying to build an automation kind of traffic magnet website system for the past few years now and thinking about my past efforts after reading your post I’m in a good position to help any one starting out in their online quest to earn the kind of Buying Traffic Needed that your topic outlines - the first snippit of advice is spend time and lots of it in the research of your niche making sure you know - really know! - that other folks who come online want and will be searching for what your going to be passionately building your website around “website optimization being the second snippet of advice” - thirdly stick with this website and niche until you make it to the dizzy heights of “earned income” not like the majority of folks online? - jumping from website to website from product to product opportunity to opportunity - there’s far more to be learned and earned in the research of the idea before all the time spent trying to flog what folks MIGHT Need - BUT! - Don’t - Want? - especially online,
All my best to you and your needs

Hi Jon,
I know exactly what you’re talking about” “money flowing from me to the owners of the system.” I spent a lot of money on that scam … until I realized that’s what it was. It’ll be interesting to see how this blog develops.
I appreciate you,
Bill Tessore

Money flowing out and not in is definitely a repetitive story that we see and hear all the time.
Staying with the one good company has many more benefits than changing from from company to company - staying put builds trust and credibility. Being with one only not having multiple streams of possible income which really = multiple streams of outgo also builds trust and credibility.
I look forward to hearing more about “building your core”.
Cheers
Julie
